The last time I came back here was in May last year. Surprisingly, KK has been transformed into a more
vibrant city. When I set my foot at the airport, I had honestly thought that I had got into the
wrong flight – that maybe it flew to Kuching instead of KK… Was it possible? – like the people at the gate didn’t chk the boarding pass…
But I relieved when I saw the panel that read KL – KK at the luggage waiting area. No jokes man! The KKIA LCCT has been refurbished – and that it looks just like the miniature of KLIA…
And there is also a new
Warisan Square that adds more colour to KK. Altogether, those had impressed me! Bravo to KK… More shopping malls and immense buildings are coming up soon.. State gov has obviously put their entire plans into actions to develop this city.
My only worry is that the demand for those all-at-once developments is fewer that what they will provide. Hey, who am I to comment on the state affairs?
An economist? Huh – no! Just a banker… hhehhehh
I didn’t come to analyse on Sabah’s economy. My only intention was to
meet my hubby… And there again I met my best friend by chance - for she had 2 nights based in KK (of being MAS crew). Of all places, KK is still the best place for us to catch up with each other. Even if I stay in Seremban while she is in USJ, we didn’t able to make time to see each other since Hari Raya.
Okay, for my stay in KK, all in all I was extremely happy having spent my full 10 days there with my hubby. That was all time I had have – even if it will never mean enough.
