<title>Happy Birthday to My Best Buddy…</title>
<description>

Hers was on Feb 15th. A very belated mini celebration from us, after few times of cancellation due to unavoidable matters – those were not only from our side, but also on the b’day girl’s. Sorryyyy dude, next year we will try to arrange it right on time!

I guess this year is never the same, as it marks the first 30 years in our age… My other best friend once reminded me that we should have been proud of being 30s, that we still look younger than that number (and most people that had put guesses on my age said I look 18 – over tau!.. auuwww..

Bot, I cling to ur words… You have given me different perspective of growing (older – silent reading). But still I don’t like the word ‘older’. What is the best substitute of saying it?? Anybody??

<title>My 10 days off to KK</title>
<description>

The last time I came back here was in May last year. Surprisingly, KK has been transformed into a more vibrant city. When I set my foot at the airport, I had honestly thought that I had got into the wrong flight – that maybe it flew to Kuching instead of KK… Was it possible? – like the people at the gate didn’t chk the boarding pass…

But I relieved when I saw the panel that read KL – KK at the luggage waiting area. No jokes man! The KKIA LCCT has been refurbished – and that it looks just like the miniature of KLIA…

And there is also a new Warisan Square that adds more colour to KK. Altogether, those had impressed me! Bravo to KK… More shopping malls and immense buildings are coming up soon.. State gov has obviously put their entire plans into actions to develop this city.

My only worry is that the demand for those all-at-once developments is fewer that what they will provide. Hey, who am I to comment on the state affairs? An economist? Huh – no! Just a banker… hhehhehh

I didn’t come to analyse on Sabah’s economy. My only intention was to meet my hubby… And there again I met my best friend by chance - for she had 2 nights based in KK (of being MAS crew). Of all places, KK is still the best place for us to catch up with each other. Even if I stay in Seremban while she is in USJ, we didn’t able to make time to see each other since Hari Raya.

Okay, for my stay in KK, all in all I was extremely happy having spent my full 10 days there with my hubby. That was all time I had have – even if it will never mean enough.

<title>What is CHILLI RAMEN?</title>
<description>I love food... Like to try new food especially when I’m away from M’sia. I suppose that food is unique to its specific originating country. And that was the answer to the food poisoning I had when me n hubby went to Bandung mid of last year. ~ But that was not referring to the traditional Indonesian food~

What I suffered was not a normal diarrhea. I threw up everything I had in my stomach (really everything) . Was really bad… Even when I was able to take porridge (really need something for energy coz mmg dah weak sgt and didn’t want tospoil the shopping mood), I had to sleep-sitting on bed. And on an attempt to bring myself to lie down (penat beb the whole nite tido duduk jek), I started to vomit again. And that it didn’t give any signal (so that u can prepare urself to the washroom) --- I had to do the cleaning job after that..

We thought that maybe (maybe) it was due to the late lunch or some wrong combination of food and drink I had.. Wanna guess of what I had for that day?? CHILLI RAMEN and ice blended strawberry… Looks ok yar? :-D … My hubby finally discovered what RAMEN really is… hhiiiiyaaakkssss……….. Find it urself dude, couldn’t bring myself to reveal what it is..

So, as a friendly reminder - just be extra careful of the types of food u have when being abroad… :-O

<title>CNY @ Melaka</title>
<description>

Almost all hotels were fully booked on this CNY... :-S

We first planned to go somewhere with 'kampung-like environment'. Our first choice was Eagle Ranch Resort, PD. We just need our time off to relax ourselves 8-) . But b’cos it was such an ad-hoc plan, we didn’t able to get a room… None available – since it was CNY and following it was a 4 days holiday. And it was only 2 of use, me and eza. Suzy had some family affairs to attend to at KB.

We moved on and decided to go to Melaka. Why Melaka? We were actually hunting for ikan bakar and assam pedas … We had the first menu, but nasi padang instead of the second one.. Both were yummy! Since it was only a 2 days 1 nite holiday, we only had 2-meal time to feed ourselves, plus a breakfast buffet at hotel.

<title>Us &amp; 2006</title>
<description>
Now again, we are about to leave one good year to move to another year ahead. Obviously, 2006 has a real significant effect on me n hubby. Loads of events happened that not only brought us happiness, but also sorrow… I believe that we should remember not only the bright moments, but the gloomy as well - as everything happens for some reasons. We cherish every vivid moment and so, we learnt our lesson from the dismal.

The review of events in 2006 :-

January – We finally planned to settle down in KL within this year, by stages - with me going first, since I’ve got the approval to transfer back in KL and my hubby coming later, LATEST by July 2006 (do take note of the word in capital letter).

My late father-in-law silently didn’t agree when I had to move to KL earlier than my hubby. Now I guess I know why… Parents know better than we do. Don’t ever live in expectations, as we will end up risking uncertainty.

Whose birthday– Hafiy on the 23th

February – I left KK with hubby on the 13th and report duty at HQ on 15th. Was on leaved for 2 1/2 days after making brief introduction to bosses and colleagues. Hubby went back to KK on 18th / 19th.

I hate working in KL. If normally (in KK) it just took me 15 minutes to reach my office, but now the time dragged to 1 ½ hours. Worst still when I commute from Seremban. Aaarrrggghhh …. How do you people coping ur life facing with traffic jam EVERYDAY?? … Hate it!!!

Whose birthday– Dhani on the 14th , Suzy on the 15th

March - Miserable life…

Somehow, I able to get few days leave to go back to KK. Slow and easy life..
Still remember the time when hubby fetches me up from KKIA, with him was my late father in law. It was such a warm welcome and I was touched…

Whose birthday– Ayla on the 6th , Aishah on the 9th

April - I’ve got to transfer to Seremban Branch. Much better I guess, as I really couldn’t adapt the traffic in KL.

Hubby and family came down to KL for his sister’s wedding on the 24th (Alia Sherina to Zul).

Whose birthday– Hubby on the 24th, Mak on the 4th, Kaklang on the 3rd

* and I got my new car a day after my hubby’s b’day

May - My late father in law went to Makkah around 11th to perform Umrah and passed away on the 24th. I went back to KK to be with hubby and brothers. I already know from this moment that my hubby’s plan to move back to KL is going to be postponed to another later and unconfirmed date.

Whose birthday – Shell’s on the 17th.

June - I was in even state.

July - We went for shopping getaway to Bandung for 6 days 5 nites. My sister Zura engaged to Muzhan on the 30th

Whose birthday – Nayli’s and Dolly on the 19th, Esza on the 24th

August - Faris married to Amy on the 5th ..

Whose birthday –Zura (sister) on the 1st, Apex on the 4th.

September – Hubby came back few days before puasa started and stayed over for about 1 week..

Our 4th Wedding Anniversary on the 7th

Whose birthday - Mine on the 3rd, abah on the 21st and late father in law on the 1st.

October - Tiring fasting month and Adilfitri called later on the 24th.

Whose birthday – Bobot’s on the 17th

November - Still in Aidilfitri’s period.

Whose birthday  - Kaklong’s on the 8th, Noleen’s on the 18th.

December - My officemates are busy finishing off their annual leave. I had almost finished mine long before year end (with 2 days left to be topped up to the next fresh year annual leave)… With that, I am still at the office while others had gone to only God knows where.

Boring ………..

Whose Birthday - Yeen on the 28th and Faris on the 18th
